I have to say I was so impressed as soon as I sat down.

The best breakfast I've had in years! If you haven't tried this cafe YOU NEED TO!! lovley fresh food & you can taste its fresh unlike most others cafes... I couldn't find a single thing to complain about even if i wanted to. 10/10 will definitely be coming back, worth every penny!! Thank you Jenna and Beth for the amazing service and George your food is next level!

Great food, I was stuffed after the big breakfast. Quick service and friendly staff. Very reasonably priced. Very good sized portions.

I cannot rave about this cafe enough.

The food is amazing, service is outstanding and they discount the food if they have got discounts from suppliers, which is unheard of.

Proper old school greasy spoon type English cafe with all the classics.

Just tried the new poached eggs on a bed of rocket and avocado with sour dough bread and sprinkled with chorizo!

Well well after all the time hunting for a decent place to get a proper breakfast at last I have found a great place brilliantly cooked fresh food and great friendly atmosphere and welcoming 5star is the only mark we can give but I would double or treble that if I could will be back again very soon

This lovely Cafe was meant to open at 7am. We were driving around looking for somewhere to have a very early breakfast and the lovely man in there let us in early. He made a beautiful English breakfast for us both. They offered vegetarian sausages in the fry up (lucky me!) And you were able to customise it with your favourite parts. We will definitely be returning to the mad hatter's cafe on our next visit to Clacton.
