The first time I ordered, it was ok. The second time, 6 hours after eating, I exploded both ends and 36 hours later, I still keep running to the bathroom. I do not recommend this place.

Absolutely beautiful takeaway. Freshly cooked .amazing house special fried rice. Love this takeaway and highly recommend ????
The chinese food is average at best. I only use the lotus house because it is a 2 minute walk from my house. Usually the food is not too bad. One of my favourite dishes (from any chinese) is a spring roll. All too often the spring rolls from the Lotus House are dripping (literally) with oil.
On a couple of occassions I have had really good fish a chips from here. On others I have thrown the chips in the bin as they had been reheated too many times and were inedible.
Good prices, tasty food and friendly staff behind the tills. All in all I enjoyed my meal and service I received
Live just round the corner and am a regular. I have no issue with them, but I only buy burger and chips. Chip portions are huge, even the normal serving. If you go for large, it means large. I buy and eat in the evening and skip breakfast the next day as the meal fills me up. Been there loads of time and have never had any problems. The only issue I can see, but it does not affect the food, is that the ceiling wiring in the customer part of the shop needs attention. Looks like it was done not by a qualified electrician, which I am. No not looking for work, just a comment. I always look at wiring everywhere I go.
My favourite Chinese, never disappoints. The owners are so friendly and loyal and always give a discount once they get to know you so makes for a good price and always delicious. The bonus are the chips are chip shop style rather than Chinese style which tops it off!
Local Chinese owned mixed fish and chip shop/Chinese takeaway.
Nothing special but everything is OK, prices not bad and the portions, particularly with regards to fish and chips are big.
Staff always friendly
Terrible fish and chips. After a long 20 mile cycle what better to top it off with a nice bit of cod and chips. The cod was 6 inches long and the greasy’st thing I’ve ever put in my mouth, and as for the chips, they were raw and tasted terrible. Didn’t eat the £12 worth of pony I brought. Lost a customer I’m afraid, I hate being ripped off cod, it’s dear enough!
