This location of choice was a fairly decent area, I have grown up in Bakersfield and recently came back to visit family. This location was down the street from my favorite place to shop which is the Mercado Latino, Great location for baptism essentials and quince gifts. I visited this nail bar that truly is what it is a Nail BAR. Beautiful choice of decor and divine atmosphere of elegance. Although i wish i can say for the staff and their grotesque choice of attitude they came to work with. i have had my share of locations and visitations of nail bars and nail salons.
These ladies are not very kind enough to chatter unless you get them to communicate with you, if they are not doing anything they will be on their phones in front of you and not care, even if you can see the feed their a looking and laughing about.
The original woman who was doing my nails , bailed on me or at least gave up on me due to she did not like she had to spend nearly more than 30 minutes to get my original gels off by soaking over half a bottle of acetone in cups to remove the gels. My nails were not properly take care of and my skin still dried out after she put cuticle oil on them in the end. The poor presentation of how my nails were done. I am disappointed by the amount and thickness of the gels. The edges were not sealed to prevent chipping, the rims of my nail beds were not finished.
Overall disappointment with my nails, $40 plus $5 gratuity not well spent. Might I recommend the ladies who choose this establishment should be specific and make sure you let them know ow you feel about the job they do on your nails. Due to the lack of attention to detail, my cuticles are now splitting and dried and damaged.
TERRIBLE! I went in for a copper balayage and Julio said he could do it. As he’s washing my hair he tells me he didn’t add the red that’s in the picture because it’s very damaging. IF YOURE NOT GOING TO DO WHAT WE AGREED UPON AT THE START THEN TELL ME!!! I didn’t even get a balayage! He gave me light colored highlights!!! I HATE HIGHLIGHTS. I even told him I wanted my hair shorter than the picture but he didn’t even cut my hair. He’s lucky I had to go to work right after because I was livid! It took almost 2 years to grow my hair out to get the perfect base for the picture i wanted and he ruined that. He said I could come back to fix it but if he couldn’t get it right the first time why would I go back and damage my hair even further. I can’t believe I wasted $140 and 5hours of my time for such a bad service. DO NOT GO HERE.
Great place I went in to do my hair looking like an orange. Lady that did my hair was awesome. The employees are all free people very welcoming loved it!
Super cute place to get your nails done! All the girls are really nice and down to earth; no cattiness like at other salons. Went there with my bestie, had a mimosa, and got pampered. We both left very happy
I recently went here to get a pedicure. I got the highest priced package and tipped $5.
I paid in total $70 for a pedicure and my feet were not done properly and I didn't realize that until I was home.
They are still rough with callus and i got the callus treatment. The lady who did my feet seemed like she was in a rush...
I loved the decor and atmosphere but also, its a little dirty and needs deep cleaning.
It's overpriced for the quality of service that was provided and I'm not happy with my experience.
It had been 2 years since my previous visit. I really wanted to have a happy experience. Unfortunately I wont come back.
I feel robbed of my money. My feet look and feel as if I never got a pedicure at all. I do not recommend this place????????
My favorite place to get my nails done! Sandra is my nail tech and she does a wonderful job whenever I go. Good and fair pricing for the job they do, which is great! Nice atmosphere, they offer services with manicures, pedicures, waxing and hair. Highly recommend this place for your beauty needs!
I was blessed to find this nail salon. It was wonderful looking, decor feminine and lovely, sparkle and comfort. We travel 1/3 of the time and this salon was one of the best i’ve found! Very modern and clean, lots of choices in colors and styles! I had a Mani/ pedi and I couldn’t have been more pleased. The ladies were all nice and eager to make me comfort. Patricia the nail technician who did my nails was gentle and efficient and skilled. She had a great sense of humor and helped me pick perfect color! I was offered and had a Mimosa to drink!
Whenever we are in Bakersfield and I need a manicure this Salon will be my choice. Thank you ladies and nice owner!
They made me wait for over an hour. The girl that did my nails was so inexperienced and seemed to be lost. She didn't know where things were and asked the other nail techs about the products. I don't have pictures because I went to another nail salon to get them fixed. They overcharge as well. Horrible and rude.
