Very good people work here. I see regulars coming back & people being treated like long time neighbors. They will try to accommodate your needs & want to do well. They have a check in process that's great for their marketing efforts. Clean place. LOVE the new massage chairs! Beautifully painted & lighted ceiling. Good color selection. Nails done to my satisfaction ????????
I love it here. I’ve been visiting Lisa’s beauty center for the last 8 months and have had great experiences each time. Pedicure specialists are incredibly thorough and polish lasts me 1month+, I’m hard on my hands but generally my gel manicure will last 3 weeks. Lisa the owner makes me feel welcome each visit, and works just as hard if not harder than her staff. She’s even given me a haircut! As long as I live in emeryville this will be my go to salon. My visit was excellent! Walked in at 955 & was immediately greeted. Stephanie (I believe) started on my nails. Both pinkies we're broken & she was done in less than an hour. Nails,are beautiful. No liquid/acrylic all over my fingers/cuticles. Nicely shaped, clean job. She paid great attention to detail.
A very nice experience! I got a deluxe gel pedicure which included a foot and leg scrub, hot stone calf and leg massage and a hot wax mask on my feet and legs. I received 10% off because it’s my birthday today!
The service is good, they are very friendly. However I don’t appreciate when surprise charges are added at the end. I was charged an extra 10 dollars which I would’ve been fine with, except it came by surprise when she charged me extra because my nails were medium length.
Gorgeous haircut! I can't remember my stylists name but she has lovely long hair and is an excellent hair stylist. I had hair down past my shoulders but wanted something shorter and easy to care for. You can see from the photos that the cut is flawless. She really took her time, made sure it was perfect and I'm very pleased.
I came in an hour from closing and didnt feel rushed at all. Everyone was friendly they provided complimentary wine. Coming from Chicago I’ve been looking for a good nail salon close to home & I finally found it.
I've been coming to this place for about a year now. It's a hit or miss with these people. I like to have one person work on both of my hands & feet. Typically, the same nail tech. Like Chi, she is good at what she does. This visit the lady's work seemed like she was just learning. My pedicure had no shine, it looked matte. A week & a half later I wake up & see nail polish in my bed. Not to mention the paint on my two thumbs peeled off. I had a design I payed for. I had her take off the design & do just a clear coat because the design was done so poorly. Lisa, the owner had to redo my nails a day later, because I got them done on New Year Eve, they where closed New Years day. So I went back the day after New Years to get them done over. Lisa, said she didn't charge me for the acrylic fill & design which was $55. They will over charge you for poor service. I'm over them & there poor service. What happened too my two thumbs is exactly what happened to my big toe.
