If you’re looking for a quiet place in Lake Worth with cable & internet close enough to downtown, this is a good, safe spot. If you’re expecting a Marriott experience, stay there. This is a small, family owned business with not many bells and whistles, so if you’re okay with that, you’ll be pleased!
The rooms I’ve visited family in 6+ times have all looked the same: living area, one bedroom with a bathroom and a kitchen with small dining area. It’s really perfect with Publix right down the street.
My fiancé and I stayed here. Christina, the owner is very rude. Our neighbor put a camera in her room and caught her on several occasions going in her room and going through her stuff when she wasn't there. The maids also were caught on camera going through all her personal belonging. She would just walk right into our room without even knocking. We would be sleeping and there she would be right at the foot of our bed. Our other neighbor had her walk in on him and his girl. I don't know why she thinks it's OK to just walk into a room that you are paying for without even knocking. I do not recommend anyone staying here. It's a shame bc it's a cozy spot and has a lot of potential. Lots of illegal activity going on at all hours of the night that Christina is aware of. We have stayed at many hotels Including ones right down the street and this place was the absolute worst bc of Christina's rude mannerisms and her invasion of your privacy. I wouldn't stay there again if she paid me to. I've never written a review before, but I feel others need to know what is going on there before they pay her ridiculous prices just to be treated poorly and have no privacy.
Check-in is *not* at 2pm, but rather whenever the host shows up at the front desk; in our case, 2:40. Don't try calling her because it just rings to the office phone--where she must certainly was not present to answer it. Hope you don't have to pee.
I stayed with my adult daughter for a decent period of time. I basically knew what to expect so no real surprises. Yes the owner can seem a bit gruff at first but a few kind words remedied that immediately. The cleaners could be more thorough and the amenities are few. The decor is very dated but overall if you don't mind doing a few things yourself, it's quite acceptable for the price.
Went to Office to ask about a room asked if I wanted smoking or non smoking. I said it didn't matter. This man went nuts he goes off on me and said no smoking here. His demener was was very nasty.He rasied his voice and was very big chested It matters to me and he slammed the window on me.
Sheets, towels, and room was dirty with dirty marks even on the walls and smelled of greasy cooked food. The owner was kind and gave us fresh linens and towels. We had no choice but to stay because of no vacancy at other places. We ended up cleaning and disinfecting the unit. Bought a candle to help with the smell. A/C was cold, very loud in the bedroom. Thank goodness we brought our own blanket and a few extra pillows with our own pillow cases. Lots of transit people that stayed up all night both nights. Would not recommend.
Great room actually! The bed was way too firm for my taste but it had a full kitchen, couch, love seat, a dinette set, full bedroom and a full bathroom. Cold AC a bonus!! No pool but not needed seeing as the beach is a "stone's throw".
Hands down dirty disgusting and a violation of privacy. Lady is rude and ignorant. Whoever left any kind of good review are out of there mind. Not to mention that I could tell the room hasn't been properly cleaned since they opened!
