The vibe of this salon is professional yet relaxed. The staff made me feel welcome and calm. I enjoyed the scalp massage with my shampoo. The stylist was wonderful. Very kind and talented. The cut I received really suits my style and fine hair. I will definitely return!
This place was the best!!! New to area so searched local salons & was able to get appointment next day just as I requested. Sarah was fantastic, showed her a couple of photos from & back of same hair cut. It came out exactly as I wanted & was hoping for. Nice atmosphere & music in background.

Nice quite shop, not alot of gossipy talk, we are not from around here, and we were treated like all the regulars, that came and went. Tina took her time and did everything my wife requested, and more. And Rachelle was pleasant and helpful when we called and made the appointment. Thank you all!
For someone that usually cuts their own hair, it was a huge deal trying to decide on a salon. I am so happy I ended up at Hawks Prairie Hair Salon. Rachel did an amazing job. I had no idea what I wanted going in. She patiently asked questions to get an idea of what I liked and what I didn't, and from there she gave me an AWESOME cut. She was very personable and had a great sense of humor. For the shampoo, cut, and eyebrow waxing the prices are very reasonable. Highly, highly recommend this salon and especially Rachel!
Decided it was time for a change, so I decided to call and get an appointment. Was able to come over and talk to the owner and the stylist on duty. With the fact that I picked bright colors they recommended another stylist who would be in after 1pm. I came back at one and worked with Rachel. She understood what I wanted and the results are amazing. I ended up going home and coming back so that my daughter could get her hair cut too. Very happy with the services and the cost. Look forward to coming back when I need my next hair style update.
I waited a week to post this to see if i was still angry and i am. I’ve never given a one to a business in my life, so this is a first.
I had an appointment for a wash and cut. I’m new to the area and it took longer for me to get to the salon than i expected. I arrived 9 minutes late for my haircut only to discover that my hairdresser had left “because she didn’t think I was coming.” What?
No one had called me to see if I was delayed when i was two minutes or five minutes late; no one offered to call her to come back (aren’t haircuts scheduled for 30-45 min?) and no one, not one, offered an actual explanation or an apology for her unprofessional behavior. I assume there’s a larger story here. But I have never had this happen before in 40 years of getting haircuts. Good luck to new clients who book and think they’ve actually got an appointment for a block of time.
They seemed perfectly content in their opinion that this is a good way to do business. It is not.
