Never ever had someone so rude on the phone, hour and a half after ordering and we call to see where It is and she said “your not the only order we are cooking you know” and put the phone down not one apology. Extremely rude woman

Well,1 star for the review to get posted!! The rudest bunch of people in this country. Sadly people like this give them all a bad name.

Tried calling and took more than 200 attempts then they answer and put on speaker… ridiculously arrogant… like seriously do you think you’re in China because you serve Chinese food

The women at the desk is disgustingly rude wanted to change something on our order before they started cooking and she didn't say anything just rolled her eyes ans starting shouting out the back there wasn't even a hello!!!

And the chips wasn't even cooked properly

The miserable garden is a better fit!

Not Essex, Not England, not the UK….. BUT THE BEST BEEF CHOW MEIN IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys are superbly talented in making the most flavoursome, tastiest and FRESHEST food ever! We absolutely LOVE the food here and the service is phenomenal! Seriously need an award in our neighbourhood for the TOP Chinese!! THANK YOU for looking after your customers through impeccable and incredibly delicious food and Service! A shame I can only give 5 ⭐️ ++++

We've had problems when we use to order from happy garden, they sent the wrong thing then wouldnt answer the phone and have also been unwell from there more than once. One of the worst chinese and very rude, terrible customer service. Ming long may be a little more price wise but so worth the money, food is lovely and staff very friendly.

Very tasty and cheap. Staff very unhelpful and abrupt, no please or thank you. Great portion size. Have used several times when I am staying in local hotel. Don’t be put off by appearance or staff, best food in England.

I've lived in Aveley for 4 years and tried so many Chinese restaurants and found them all over priced and bland. I've never tried Happy Garden because they're not on just eat (but should be) but my boyfriend picked up food from there on Monday and I'm never going anywhere else now.....the food was lovely, tasty and fresh....reminded me of old school proper Chinese! Plus they were extremely reasonable in price. Would highly recommend and they've not paid me to write this review!!

Absolutely disgraceful service from this restaurant food never arrived no response to multiple request for an update, absolutely unacceptable avoid ordering from here at all costs, terrible!!!
