Best PlaceJuice Reviews

This unit used to be called Graze, owned by Bath Ales.
It's actually a really pleasant dining room, spacious and well-lighted. The staff are friendly and efficient.
The food is poor, bordering on unacceptable.
My sirloin steak, ordered medium, arrived well done and devoid of flavour - certainly not "35-day aged". The chips were soggy, the "dressed watercress" promised on the menu was actually spinach. The peppercorn sauce was full of sugar.
The wine is heavily overpriced - a cheap, sugary Argentinian "Malbec" was £28.50 and so poor that I left half the bottle.
The espresso is not bad.
Owner, up your food and wine game. Your front of house staff deserve better than this, never mind your customers.
First class all round. The food (we shared a chicken schnitzel with egg and frites and steak frites with amazing garlic butter) was spot on, cooked perfectly with lots of flavours. The tap water was chilled, the service was brilliant and the mocha is easily one of the best I’ve had. My husband said the Americano was excellent quality too. Lovely setting and some great background music. A very enjoyable lunch. Thanks to everyone who looked after us, we are looking forward to returning.
Our dinner on a Sunday evening at Graze was average at best. Upon arrival we were only the second group dining there, it wasn’t busy at all. A rack of ribs is one of my favourite choices and reasonable in price compared to steak.
My set of ribs from the kitchen was not to my palate. I usually like the meat so tender it tears from the bone easily. This was not the case with Graze’s. The sauce didn’t leave an impression on me either. Served with salad and fries, it was a good portion size nonetheless.
Friends said the steak was so-so too. I wouldn’t re-visit given plentiful options in Bristol.
Excellent, very good food, and also beers and wine selections are good. The staffs friendly.
5 mins from centre and dew steps away from waterfront.
Great location, nice staff and amazing steaks. I really enjoyed it.
Food was of great quality, but honestly this excuse of a chateaubriand was farcical. Sold as “450g for two to share” but was smaller than the 225g T-bone for one. Questioned it with staff who continued to blindly claim that it had a pre-cook weight of 450g. It was barely enough for one. Would not come here again disgraceful.
Incredible food with an expansive menu and extraordinary selection of beer, wine, and cocktails!
Decent place in a great location. Staff very friendly, good drink selection and food looked good. Outside seating available.

Quick Facts About Graze

The comments above provide a range of opinions on Graze place. While some customers have positive experiences and highlight strengths such as a pleasant dining room, friendly and efficient staff, and good quality food and drinks, others express dissatisfaction with certain aspects of the restaurant, including the poor quality of food, overpriced wine, and misleading portion sizes. This analysis will delve deeper into the strengths and weaknesses of Graze place based on these comments.
Starting with the strengths, it is clear that Graze place has a pleasant dining room that is spacious and well-lighted. This contributes to a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for customers. Additionally, the staff are consistently described as friendly and efficient. Good customer service is crucial in creating a positive dining experience, and Graze place seems to excel in this aspect.
Several comments highlight the quality of the coffee at Graze place. Both the espresso and mocha are praised, with one customer even deeming the mocha one of the best they have had. This suggests that Graze place has expertise in brewing high-quality coffee, which can be a significant selling point for customers who appreciate a good cup of coffee.
Another strength mentioned by customers is the location of Graze place. It is stated to be just five minutes away from the city centre and a few steps from the waterfront. A great location can attract customers and make the restaurant easily accessible for both locals and tourists. Additionally, the availability of outside seating further enhances the dining experience, especially during pleasant weather.
Moving on to the weaknesses of Graze place, the most significant criticism revolves around the poor quality of food. Several customers express disappointment with their meals, with specific examples including overcooked steak, soggy chips, and misleading descriptions of dishes. The lack of flavor and incorrect preparation of dishes indicate a lack of attention to detail in the kitchen, which is detrimental to the overall dining experience.
Additionally, there are repeated complaints about the overpricing of wine. Customers mention that they received low-quality wine for a high price, leading to dissatisfaction and some even leaving half a bottle untouched. This suggests that Graze place may not have an extensive selection of reasonably priced wines and fails to provide customers with good value for their money.
The criticism regarding the size of the chateaubriand portion is another weakness. One customer claims that the portion size was significantly smaller than advertised, leading to a feeling of being deceived. This comment raises concerns about transparency and consistency in portion sizes, which can lead to mistrust and negative customer experiences.
In conclusion, while Graze place has strengths such as a pleasant dining room, friendly staff, and expertise in brewing coffee, it also has weaknesses that hinder the overall dining experience. The most significant weaknesses include poor quality food, overpriced wine, and misleading portion sizes.
