Stunningly good chips and fish. Never tried this place before, and only ended up there as the chip shop further up the hill was closed (9 pm on a Friday????)

But goodness me, what fabulous chips!! And the fish was equally good. Also tried the chicken kebab, which was quality. Recommended.

The guy here is so friendly. We visited close to closing time and he gave us some chips while we waited. Also gave us a few extras which we were really grateful for! The food is so tasty and homemade- even the chips! Please support this amazing business!

Having never been to or ordered from Friends Fish Bar, i wasn't sure on the quality of their food but after my recent order through Deliveroo I'll definitely be ordering from here again over other fish & chip shops. Their chips are thick yet non-greasy and taste great, they also held the heat very well.

I popped in after work for cod and scallops, it was close to closing time but they still cooked everything from fresh, well worth the wait, absolutely delicious! Also very good value for money, I usually go to our place in Hagley

A great chip shop that does Gluten free battered fish. Price is average. Service was excellent Parking not brilliant but a car park is nearby worth the effort. There are seats inside and outside. Portions are a nice size

Best fish and chips in town. Batter perfect. Had some from up the hill when they were closed and you could have knocked a nail in with the batter.

Have used this chippy a few times now and have to say, the food is excellent as well as decent value. Even the way the food is wrapped is perfect, and staff very friendly.

Lovely fresh tasting food, friendly service . Would recommend ????
