Recently started traveling to San Jose for work. Ended up at a friend's salon and got one of the most expensive and worst haircuts of my life. Went to Frank de Barber Shop to see if someone could help me look at least decent without having to pay another arm and a leg. When I got there, Jordan aka Dr. J was just about to leave to go celebrate his birthday. I explained that the way my bank account is set up right now, it'd be hard for me to pay the full amount for a haircut, but whatever he could do for me for a bit less I'd really appreciate. He completely hooked it up. This is the haircut I SHOULD have got at the $120 salon. I definitely felt embarrassed to walk around without my hood on this morning, but now I'm glad I know where I'll be getting my hair cut for the foreseeable future.
Steve the man is the GOAT. Has been treating me right for years. Guy has plenty of story’s to share while lining you up just right. My man will make sure you leave feelin right. Good vibes and cool environment. Would recommend anyone.

Stopped in last week from out of town for a quick cut. Turned out awesome and the guys were super friendly. Totally recommend this place.

Got a cut & beard trim from Steve. I've been cutting & trimming my own hair & beard for two years, and it was a mess when I walked in. I've had a lot of issues in the past with barbers messing up my beard, but Steve hit the nail on the head and was a great conversationalist. He was also very patient and helpful when it came to figuring out what I was looking for even though my haircut vocabulary is limited. Will definitely be back in a few weeks for another cut & trim.
