The lady who took my order was rude. We ordered mixed meat and chips and chicken nuggets and chips. The chicken tikka was extremely dry as well as the Donna meat and the chips wasn’t great either. I don’t know how they can think this is acceptable to sell this rubbish.

The food here is absolutely disgusting. I wouldn’t even feed it to a dog. The salad clearly wasn’t fresh???? the cucumber was shrivelled put it that way. I am shocked this takeaway even has a license… I think the food hygiene standard guys need to pay a visit to say the least.

We hadn’t used this chippy for the last 10 years , but due to every where else shut down because of end of season we thought we’d give it another try , staff are welcoming all food is cooked fresh on entering , and of a very good quality we’ve had about a dozen meals now and all have been superb, recommend the chicken madras & fish & the bonus is you can take it upstairs to the place and enjoy a pint with your food welcoming staff up there as well

Chicken tikka kebab not recommended, this chicken tastes terrible. Too bad. Even the fries reheated. One day they were good and the next they were old and reheated.

Fish and chips were just about edible. They were in a box but fat was dripping out and made the paperwrappi paper wrapping very greasy and the batter was soggy. The kebab meat was so disgusting,very spicy and a very strange colour. My partners loves kebab meat but he couldn't eat it.i had one mouth full and spat it out, the taste made me feel sick. Very over priced and if I could give minus stars I would. A total waste of money and would rather starve than go there again.

popped in today asked for gravy and chips got told no gravy left but could of ad curry sauce instead told the man i didnt like or want curry sauce he looked at me as tho i was crazy . the chips am really nice i thought they was frozen but they aint

Absolutely disgusting. Greasy batter and dry fish that tasted like it had been cooked the day before. Chips dry and hard. Prices are ridiculous. £10.60 for a tiny bit of fish and quite a few chips and curry sauce that tasted like I imagine a sewer tasting like. If they were a chippy where I live in Newcastle Upon Tyne they would most definitely not still be in business.

Myself and my family are on a family holiday, we were looking for a chip shop to eat and came across this one. We headed on inside, decided what we wanting when the women asked what we wanted so We told her. I am disgusted with how rude she was. She didn’t even crack a smile the whole time we was there. We asked if it was ok to sit upstairs and she replied with “well is the sign out the front” which isn’t exactly the response we wanted, a simple yes would have be been fine. When we went back down 10 minutes later to collect our food, we ordered some curry sauce in which she put in the microwave to re-heat. Other than that, the food was ok. The building inside looked dirty throughout and the customer service was appalling. I doubt we will return.
