I have been to this location MANY times! This time, I had quick service and a professional, neat job was done. One suggestion I would make is that the braiders should go a little easier on our edges when braiding our hair. They definitely take pride in catching every little hair up! Other than that, the place is clean and the staff is friendly. The prices are consistent with the type of braiding they are doing. I got crochet braids this time. If you want tree braids, crochet, or another "special" style, you will have to provide your own hair. For the other braids, the hair is included.
The lady who did my hair did not blow dry it properly and I didn't realize till after I saw my fuzzy ends sticking out the braids. My hair took 5 hours, which I'm used to for smaller braids, however these were medium sized, regular length and there was no quality to justify.
Thank you Ms. Mary for an awesome job on my touch up knotless braids at the last minute after my stylist failed on me. You did a great job and were professional. This was my first time going to the salon.
I should have known to google the reviews. I played myself is what I did. I’m use to professionally West African Braiders who can do various styles for a reasonable price. First it was because my “ hair was too short mind you it would have take less time if you just say we only know how to do one or two styles. Not only that but me watching something on my phone (with my wireless Bluetooth ear buds)really upset them for some reason. As if the numerous breaks and crying child wasn’t enough, I have to listen to your loud conversations too?! It was the worst experience I’ve had. I’m use to a certain level of customer service and if I’m paying 180 service should definitely come with a smile not rudeness and nasty attitude. They are terrible and deserve a much lower rating then the one they already have. I miss my Mrs. Zina she was from Guinea and she was amazing. She could do any style you showed her, if only I could have moved her from Virginia with me.
Very horrible & unprofessional!! they argued, talking & telling other workers business also I got blond braids they didn’t tuck my real hair . I won’t never return there again
Got my hair braided 3 days ago and I finally decided to grease my scalp the top was braided in micro but the back of my hair was done about four sizes bigger than the front of my hair. I usually go there but after this i will never go back again and they are very unprofessional. They were unprofessional the 1st time I went but the work they've done was great but this time not so much never again.
Ms Mary did a great job on my knotless braids ... she was sweet and very professional , not to mention my hair was done very neat ... I definitely recommend them
Only thing nice I can say is that, the lady that did my braids was quick. I got cornrows that wrap around and hang on one side, she braided way too tight. I didn't look in mirror to get the angle she was braiding it in and wasn't happy with finished style. I took it back out the same day.
