My sister and I visited this location on yesterday which was Sunday on 10/23/22.It was close to closing time when we arrived. They were still open and we both requested a pedicure and manicure. It was someone’s birthday at the facility. They were preoccupied with celebrating that birthday that they provide extremely poor service. I paid 150.00 for this visit. I received a partial pedicure no massage lotion or hot towel applied to my legs. The tech completed my feet and that was it. Did not offer the disposable flip flops that every nail shop slides on your feet once your done; however the tech completing my sister’s pedicure did provide these services to her and we order the exact same thing. While doing my nails the tech asked if she could stop and go take a picture with the rest of the people there. They were extremely loud. I was not satisfied with the shape and thickness of the powder applied to my nails the nail tech continued to complete my nails after I made her aware of my complaint. We were the only two in the building they proceeded to turn the lights off while still working on our nails while the owner passed out lottery tickets to the techs that were still working on our nails to scratch off! This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. I was dissatisfied with the service and expressed that! They did not complete a manicure on my hands and nailed they on applied tips but charged me for a manicure that they obviously didn’t have time to complete. Please don’t waste your time at this location! I guess because he were the last two we didn’t deserve an environment free of loud noises then crowding around each outlet taking pictures even interrupting my experience to take pictures to celebrate! Absolutely dissatisfied and will never visit again
I’ve been going here for years now and I see Mey every time! She always works with my schedule and does an excellent job on my nails.
She always works with my schedule and makes time for me! The shop is always clean and everyone is welcoming and friendly.
This place has gone so downhill in a matter of a year. It’s been over a year and a half since the last time ive been here to get my nails done. I went yesterday, arrived around 3pm to get a pedicure and manicure. The lady at the front desk w/the glasses was on her phone, acted as if i was a bother to her that i came in. Terrible impression, she has always seem to be irritated by customers so i wasn’t too shocked.
I was seated with Ricardo as my nail tech. This was my first time having him as a nail tech. In the past Kim was the only tech i really was satisfied with. So before Ricardo even touches my hands, I made sure to tell him that my natural nails curl upwards and that i wanted him to really get the acrylic to curve downwards, he reiterated what i said so i thought he took heed. Not at all, it took him literally 25 mins to finish my nails. Didn’t take his time buffing my nails, removing excess skin around the cuticles nothing.
I got my pedicure, the same thing. Rushed, I paid $120 for the entire services just to get a $70 look for both my nails and toes. Neither one of them took their time, crazy thing is.. the shop was practically empty. So they very well could’ve took their time. I’ll never go back. Especially sheet specially telling them how you want things and they do it their way anyway was the straw for me.
*oh yeah, i know when im being judged by how i look if im going to tip, Ricardo didn’t take his time bcuz he felt i wouldn’t tip. Don’t know about the other guy… i tipped them both $10.
Mey is an excellent nail tech! She is friendly, creative, professional, and makes sure the client is satisfied! I’ve been going to Mey for almost 2 years and she never disappoints!
I felt they were rushing me; they weren’t friendly just taking in another language amongst themselves instead of being friendly with the customers; I paid $45 for the basic pedicure. They’re pricier than most places for the service; they barely filed my toe nails; they’re still not smooth; they didn’t offer me one thing to drink whereas some places offer at least a bottle water, but some go as far as to offer a glass of wine. I just went because I was in Southaven for something else, but it’ll be my last time going there.
Mae is amazing. She is very talented and patient. She listens to all your needs and wants. She shapes the nails the best and polishes the best. She is indeed the best nail tech for the business. The atmosphere is amazing as well. Please request Mae for your nails needs.
I Absolutely love this place. We had a girls day and decided to stop here for pedicures. The staff were very friendly and had us laughing throughout getting our massages. Awesome job! If I could give them 10 stars I would. Highly recommend
It has been weeks since my last visit and I still get upset thinking about the service I received at Envy Nails. I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel like they completely gouged me when it comes to the price of my nails and pedicure. I requested May who does a great job, but did not give and was unwilling to give me the nail set I wanted. I showed her an inspo pic and immediately she tells me it will be too much money. Basically assuming I couldn’t afford it. She proceeds to tell me any design or different color would be $10 PER finger. So I opt with a basic ombré, which again she was unwilling to really let me pick the colors or let me specialize it, saying “no that won’t look good,” etc. Also, my mother and I got the same thing, yet somehow mine cost more money than hers. We had same nail length and all (she had a different person do her nails). As for the pedicure, outrageously over priced for a rushed service. We got the $55 one; which they only offered that one or a $40 one. They stated the $55 pedicure came with hot rocks, there was no hot rocks. The total for the pedicure with gel polish somehow came to over a $100. So for nails and a pedicure I paid close to $200 after tip. After the pedicure I felt completely rushed to pay for the service and leave. There’s too many nail places to feel rushed and not get exactly what you want for such a high price. I would not recommend and I will never return back.

Weaknesses: 1. Poor service due to distractions: A customer mentioned that their visit was marred by the salon's focus on celebrating a birthday, which resulted in extremely poor service. The staff should prioritize providing quality services to their customers and not let distractions impact the overall experience.
2. Inattentive and rushed service: Several customers expressed dissatisfaction with the level of attention and care given during their visit. The comments suggest that the technicians were rushed, did not take the time to properly buff nails or remove excess skin around the cuticles, and did not pay attention to specific requests made by customers. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and personalized service.
3. Pricing and value for money: Multiple customers noted that Envy Nails was pricier compared to other nail salons, yet the service provided did not justify the cost. This raises concerns about the salon's pricing structure and the value customers receive for the money spent.

5. Lack of amenities and add-ons: One customer mentioned that Envy Nails did not offer any refreshments or additional amenities, such as water or wine, during their visit. This suggests that the salon does not provide a high level of customer service or go above and beyond to improve the customer experience.

However, the salon also faces weaknesses regarding distractions affecting service quality, inattentive and rushed service, pricing and value for money, communication barriers, and a lack of amenities. These areas of improvement should be addressed in order to enhance the overall customer experience at Envy Nails.
