Absolutely gorgeous food. Always piping hot, listen to you when you place an order on how you like things done. Extremely courteous, easy to understand, helpful. Have a great sense of humour when chatting on the phone. Never rude. Love the chips from here, Do not change the formula, everything is fresh and tasty. I would recommend Rate my Takeaway to come check out these bad boys and give a solid 10!

Bad service… large phone order of £52.45 worth of fish and chips to be delivered for a family gathering. Took 2 hours to do a 4 minute / 1.8 miles trip the food was also cold and taste less. I was also told that my food was going to be 10 minutes each time I rang. To put it in perspective we had also ordered dominos pizza at the same time ‘on another phone’ it came near enough 1 hour and 30 minutes before the fish n chips despite being cooked fresh and being a 15 minutes / 4.1 miles drive. Wont be in a hurry to go back. Please remember this was a Wednesday at 5 pm god help end of the week / weekend orders.

Ordered food. An hour later, nothing. Called and was told 10 mins. 30 mins passed, nothing. Called again, told it was with the driver, they would call him and then call back. Never called back. Then they shut.

One of our favourite local chip shops based on their food. Fish is always nice, not too fishy tasting (if that makes sense!). Great chips.

Staff are really nice too, although we have noticed from reviews that there's been a recent management change. Hopefully this won't affect our future experiences going forward.

I’m disappointed with the service!

Ordered off Just eat I had a notification food is on its way after 15 minutes the food hadn’t arrived so I called them the female on the phone gripped we have other orders to take you know ! ( which made me think will the food be cold )

The disrespectful driver

With a face like thunder marched up my path knowing it’s late before I had a chance to say a word blurts out “ it’s not my problem “ I was speechless ????

Then to top it all 1 no curry sauce 2 burger with salad after requesting No Salad 3 chilli sauce on the kebab and wasn’t ask for either.

After a phone call to the shop to explain what’s happened the male passed the phone to the female

I started with what was missing I’ll take off your bill next time I was gobsmacked then the phone was put down.

What!!! Okay hey on earth would I ever order again

I have ordered from this chippy many time and always had a good meal ( with different staff ) No I’ll avoided it like the plague

The new owner was amazing when I explained my disability and being housebound . The first time I used this chippy and that’s why I always went back

Great service, great food, great vibe in the shop all round great chip shop, the new staff and management are very friendly would highly recommend over queens or vinnys

Been using for 20 years and now they have new owners I’ve never eaten such rubbish in all my life
