Fabulous food, well presented, great menu and well priced for 5 star food. All staff very pleasant and efficient, add to all this a brilliant location what more could you ask for. Every time I have visited Dukes it never fails to impress. I would highly recommend this restaurant, if you haven't tried it yet, it is a definite must for foodies. The menu is excellent, varied and everything home cooked and freshly prepared. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself you will not be disappointed. Michael and Margaret are wonderful hosts.

The food - well we are blown away. So fresh, home made and delicious!! Went from stopping for a drink to a three course meal. Honestly cannot wait to return. Thank you so much to you all.
Dukes was recommended to us by a friend for Sunday lunch. We weren't disappointed. Food is fabulous, really good quality and well presented. Excellent service and lovely atmosphere and surroundings. We will definitely return.

Lovely litlle roadside cafe bar. The small breakfast was perfect. We'll cooked, we'll presented and just the right amount. It's not often you notice how we'll the toast was cooked.! Great value for money and really friendly staff.
Our first visit to this venue due to being turned away from a local place due to not booking. What a great bit of luck for us that we decided to venture out to Ainsdale as we discovered this little gem. No problems getting a table, customer service was exemplary and the food was absolutely amazing. I wanted to come back for the rest of the week to eat. Looking forward to coming back.

Beautiful food, lovely clean restaurant including very clean toilets.
The staff were amazing including our young server Dillon who we first thought was a bit shy but it turned out he had only just started.
For a server who had only just started he certainly knew what to do and was extremely attentive to removing empty plates and glasses.
Then we had the pleasure of meeting the owners who were just fantastic making us feel so welcome.
The restaurant is warmly inviting with a great atmosphere probably due to its owners staff and the cleanliness throughout.
Will definately be back again hopefully quite often.
After a 15.1 km Meander along the first part of the “Trans Pennine Trail”, we enjoyed a well earned rest, a couple of pints and a very nice meal. Helpful friendly staff and a very pleasant environment. An ideal location for those, like us, using Merseyrail.
