Highly recommend! I've had a few bad salon experiences so I tend to cut my own hair. I heard so many good things about the hair lounge and I'm so glad I checked it out. I love the laid back atmosphere and the spooky decor. I felt welcome and comfortable as soon as I walked in. Amber did an amazing job fixing my home cut and her dog Winnie was a welcome surprise. Such a cutie and so sweet. Can't wait to go back to have my hair dyed!

Wow! What can I say?! This place is FANFREAKINTASTIC! The price is right. The location is perfect. The hospitality and professionalism I experienced was superb! The owner is sweet and very easy to talk to. You walk in there and you feel like you’re sitting with friends. Alyssa was my hair artist and she did a great job on my hair. I was only looking for a trim and a side bang and she DELIVERED. She didn’t cut it too short and did exactly what I hoped for. My expectations have been highly exceeded. I can’t wait to go back when I’m ready for more. Thank you so much for making my experience comfortable and welcoming. I loved the atmosphere and the fact that I didn’t feel like I was just another person/money sign. Just from talking with Alyssa I realize they’re a full salon with haircuts/colors for men, women, AND kids, with highly trained stylists for nails, waxing, and more. We have been going to Amber since my child's first hair cut in 2018 (before she opened her own business). We followed her when she opened Downtown Hair Lounge. Amber is simply, the best. She has been named "the kid whisperer" and it's not without reason. I have a child with sensory issues and Amber has been so amazing since the beginning, that he sits so amazing for her now. Amber will do anything for the child's hair she is cutting. Chase them around, make silly faces, she sat on the floor with my son for one of his first cuts with her. Anytime we go into this shop, it's met with amazing personalities of anyone else working there and such a comfortable environment. I would recommend Downtown Hair Lounge 10x before another shop like this. We love it here and will keep coming back as long as they are open.

So happy we were referred to Downtown Hair Lounge!! I finally found someone who can handle my sons multiple cowlicks! It's an awesome bonus that Amber and her crew are super sweet and friendly!! You really feel like you're at a family members house because it is such a nice upbeat and comfortable atmosphere!

Amber shampooed, cut, & dried my brother's hair. Trimmed his eyebrows and his goatee. She did a wonderful job and it was the most important one ever as my twin brother is terminally ill. Every act of kindness matters so much. (And she didn't even know he was ill.)

Honestly, the best shop ever. Her hair cuts are bar none and she always finds time to squeeze me in. The vibe at the shop is so chill. Everyone is welcome there. The best part is the shop pup named Winnie!

Absolutely recommend this place, very friendly and welcoming and Amber did an amazing job on my daughters hair. Love the Halloween all year theme they have.
