Fantaatic cod and chips from Deep Sea. Cod was crispy and not too oily. The chips were nice too. The chef who fries the fish is a marvellous man. Loved the gangster photos they have in the shop too. They also have parking at the back for customers. Will definitely come back

Always has been, and continues to be, one of the best chippies in the area. For me, it remains as my goto chippy. Great people, great food, great value. Can't go wrong. A hearty and easy recommendation.

Pretty unimpressed, to be honest. The food is okay and portions are massive but service is slow and inefficient. I waited for ages last Friday and when I asked if I would ever get my food, I just got a load of verbal abuse. I don't expect this and I don't appreciate it. The food is okay but service leaves a lot to be desired.

We had plaice and haddock this evening . Absolutely delicious as usual , beautiful light , crispy batter .

First visit to the Deep Sea. Very impressed. The shop is spotlessly clean. The fish and chips were cooked fresh for us. The food tasted delicious and not greasy. Prices are reasonable too. Will definitely return.

Very rude very racists. There are many other nice chips shops in the area who welcome customers of all different backgrounds. Disappointing to say the least!

And just by the response from the owner themselves it shows they are racist. I will be publishing this online.

You tried to delete your original message ‘this is normal for these people to act’ I have already screen shooted it and have posted on all social media platforms to show what a racist business you are. Your whole mannerism alone just proves my point I feel quite sad for you honestly, my colour affects you in some strange way. I hope you find the healing you need. People of colour avoid this place at all cost they are racist!!! Spend your money elsewhere!!!
