Nice place to go to. Usually go to karoake there good atmosphere with the locals and the odd lorry drivers. Just recently had new ownership and she's lovely good and kind to her customers. Only bad thing about the place are the toilets there not disgusting but could do with a touch up here and there to sort out locks and such. Would defo recommended for a nice pint or two.????

If you are looking for a decent reasonable priced pint it's a good old style British pub. Staff and locals are friendly. Can usually get a conversation in here. If you want flash, noise and dodgy beer it's not the pub for you.

3 stars is generous and only reflects how friendly the bar staff are, they are the jewel in an otherwise dilapidated crown. The cotes park is a pub I used to frequent about 15 yrs ago on a regular basis. It was always packed and the it was a nice place to go for a beer, sadly no longer.

The wallpaper is literally hanging off the wall, I am not making that up! It is hanging off the wall and then curled up and gone crusty, the male toilets stink and there are swaz sticker graffiti in them. I understand that the heydays of some pubs has unfortunately passed by and that its a struggling trade for many people with small businesses being continually squeezed, that its hard out there for a small business BUT - this pub is sadly an example of one such that has given up..... which considering how much I used to love this place is kinda sad :(

No wonder why it's empty all the time.

A bit grim and geared for the odd few locals..... I used to eat here every dinner in the week and spent many evenings in summer watching the world go by sat outside. A sad harsh reality of the price of beer and not being able to smoke these days..... not forgetting cheap booze available at Iceland b&m and aldi over the road.

What a nice place to spend the evening ???? first time in English pub and and it was perfect experience. If you up to spend nice time with loved ones, here is your place

Good place, people keeping distance, wearing masks etc. Asked to sign in at the door. Staff working hard to keep everyone safe

Tbh the beer isn't the best n they need to clean there drains.

But it is a friendly atmosphere
