Best PlaceJuice Reviews

A very nice lunch visit. The restaurant does have dated decor but we thought it added to the overall charm. The menu is unfussy and 'comfort' food-like with a good selection of drinks. The table service was friendly and quick - the restaurant was fairly busy when our group of three arrived. We ordered fried egg on toast ( very nice ), toasted cheese & onion sandwich ( really nice ) & tuna sandwich ( enjoyed ) . It was a decent cup of coffee too. Overall, nice little cafe for home-style cooked food. Our group would recommend this eatery.
Called in for some lunch, and a coffee, while on a day trip, and was impressed by the food and drinks offered.
The service was first class.
As far as I could see, all the seating was either in booths or tables of four, and the long narrow nature of the building would probably not allow for much else... so I have only given 4 stars for atmosphere, which I think is fair, yet I feel guilty for not giving 5, given we hardly noticed!
There were also tables outside on the pavement for when the weather was warmer.
The decor was more than made up for by the food and good old fashioned service.
I was particularly pleased that nobody interrupted us to ask if we were enjoying our food... I hope it was clearly obvious that we were!
My son had a side of chips and curried sauce, which I tried, and they were delicious.
Nice place seemed clean and tidy staff were friendly. Had a coffee and a toasted tea cake good size. I have read some of the reviews to be honest decor seemed fine to me. Definitely go back
A great choice of well cooked food at very reasonable prices.
Definitely one of Llandudno's hidden gems.
Always a favourite cafe as the food is always good.
No specific gluten free specials (like gluten free fish) on the menu. So I had bacon, egg and chips.
The lady did say that their chips are ok as fried separately on their own and they do use a gluten free gravy on dinners.
Husband had haddock which he said was lovely with a light and crisp batter coating, not too heavy.
We came back for tea and hubby had a lovely looking piece of coffee and walnut cake.
The photo of the decor tells you all you need to know. Pink walls, chintz light fittings, and those blue seats from about 1977 (honestly manager / owner, make a theme of the blue). Service was fine, staff friendly enough. Coffee was OK, but a “large” coffee was anything but.. 330ml mug. I guess we are use to the larger chains in which a large coffee is a litre mug!
Love coffee centre in Llandudno lovely staff great service the food is gorgeous and lots to choose from

Quick Facts About Coffee Centre

Coffee Centre place has several strengths that make it a recommended eatery. Firstly, the lunch visit was described as very nice, indicating that the overall experience was enjoyable. The menu was praised for being unfussy and 'comfort' food-like, suggesting that there are familiar and satisfying options available. A good selection of drinks was also mentioned, indicating that there is a variety of beverage choices to complement the meal.
Another strength of Coffee Centre place is the friendly and quick table service. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, the staff was efficient in attending to the needs of the customers. This is important as prompt service enhances the overall dining experience.
The quality of the food and drinks is also a strength of Coffee Centre place. Commenters mentioned enjoying dishes such as fried egg on toast, toasted cheese & onion sandwich, tuna sandwich, and side of chips with curried sauce. The food was described as nice, really nice, delicious, and tasty. The haddock with a light and crisp batter coating was specifically mentioned as lovely. Moreover, the portion sizes were noted to be generous, providing good value for money.
The reasonable prices were also mentioned as a strength of Coffee Centre place. The affordability of the well-cooked food was appreciated and highlighted as one of Llandudno's hidden gems. This attracts customers who are looking for quality meals at a reasonable cost.
The cleanliness and tidiness of the place were also praised. A comment mentioned that the staff were friendly and that the decor seemed fine. This suggests that the overall ambiance of the cafe is pleasant and welcoming. Additionally, the availability of seating options both inside and outside further enhances the dining experience, providing flexibility for customers depending on their preferences or the weather conditions.
Despite these strengths, there are a few areas where Coffee Centre place can be improved. The decor was described as dated, with pink walls, chintz light fittings, and old-fashioned blue seats. While some commenters mentioned that they thought it added to the overall charm, others felt it could use an update. Improving the decor could contribute to a more visually appealing atmosphere for customers.
Another area for improvement is the availability of gluten-free options. While the chips were mentioned to be gluten-free and fried separately, there were no specific gluten-free specials on the menu. Adding more gluten-free options, such as fish, would cater to customers with dietary restrictions and increase the inclusivity of the menu.
Finally, the size of the coffee was highlighted as a weakness. Commenters noted that a "large" coffee was only a 330ml mug, suggesting that it was smaller than expected. Offering larger sizes or clearly indicating the size of the coffee would manage customer expectations and potentially increase satisfaction in this aspect.
In conclusion, Coffee Centre place has several strengths that make it an enjoyable eatery. The positive aspects include a nice lunch experience, unfussy and comforting menu options, friendly and quick table service, good quality food and drinks, reasonable prices, cleanliness, and friendly staff. However, there are areas that require improvement, such as the dated decor, limited gluten-free options, and the size of the coffee. By addressing these weaknesses, Coffee Centre place can further enhance its overall charm and dining experience.
