Stopped for coffee and custard slice, the custard slice was very tasty and fresh. Coffee was good. Staff were lovely, friendly and polite. The only downside was it was so busy inside that we had to sit outside and despite being by the window with covers we were still getting drips of rain on us....and the coffee went cold quick.
Glass I was given was not clean, thankfully I ordered a can so drank out of that. Tables were dirty, but quickly cleaned. The table in front of us was cleaned off, and just wiped onto the floor. I can appreciate it's a busy Saturday afternoon but the tables and floors must be clean.
Sadly the coffee was so strong I could have stood my spoon up in it, even though my husband had requested just 1 shot of coffee! The coffee was not hot, barely warm. And the tables weren't cleaned, and the staff weren't at all busy at that time.
Okay, but wouldn't rush back or recommend. Starting with the basics, poorly laid out cafe with an awkward bottleneck at the ordering side of the service desk next to both the entrance to the kitchen and cutlery/consumables unit.
In a nutshell, the drinks are a decent standard (that you would expect from most local cafes). Food is basic with an unreasonable wait for basic cuisine and sandwich/panini served with coleslaw that I can only liken to baby vomit. Not appetizing in the slightest and not worth the price tag.
Ambience is completely off and coffee grinder and food processor (for the iced frappes) is way too loud.
Overall, not impressed and would not return.
Queued for food, asked for what they have, but they couldn't give us a menu! Had to go back to our table and download one! Then we had to queue again and finally wait too long for not a good standard of food. Would have given smaller score but the coffee was excellent!
Excellent staff and service pop in here whenever we're at mcarthur Glen I'm wondering if the name is that of sidoli,s ice cream family quite a legend in there own rights ????
Had to clean my own table and take a tray full to the kitchen. That said, coffee was lovely.
