Best PlaceJuice Reviews

If you happen to be in Brighton, a resident or visiting and you are craving to eat something like Filipino dishes? This the place. (I’m sure they serve vegetarian meals as well) I don’t know what to recommend specifically because I just love all of them ????????????
Super authentic Filipino restaurant. A nice cosy atmosphere makes it an intimate experience. The dishes and portion sizes are very generous and would make anyone looking for their hit of Filipino food proud. Booking would be highly recommended.
I went here with two Filipino friends. I’ve had Filipino food before but this was to an excellent standard. The taste was out of this world. I’ve not been on the Brighton food scene too much so if this place isn’t already popular - it should be. A must for people in Brighton
Suchhhh amazing pork sisig and lechon kare kare (they were out of oxtail when I went)! Lumpia was tasty but definitely not the usual small and more veggie filled authentic ones. Kinilaw was way too spicy, I’ve never had such spicy kinilaw in the Philippines or other Filipino restos. Barakotini was also the best espresso martini I’ve ever had!! Really wanted to try dessert but didn’t have room. Overall would skip the sides next time and go for more mains. Would 100% come back to try more next time I’m in Brighton!
This is a great place to hang out with friends and have some good food and drinks too, indoor or outdoor. I tried the chicken barbeque skewers, and it was great. My friends tried the other dishes like nilasing na hipon (I didn't like this much) and calamari (rubbery). They also had lechong kawali (I don't eat this so I can't comment on the taste). It's definitely a must-go for Filipinos visiting Brighton. It's a good way to rest a little bit after a few rides at the Brighton Palace Pier, which is just a 5-minute walk away.
Great food and interior. Love the Filipino mythical theme and food presentation.
Nilasing na hipon was perfectly fried & flavourful. Dinuguan was legit. Ube shake had the perfect Ube flavour (neither too sweet/overpowering nor bland). Cocktails (I think I got kapre) were delish.
Sisig was some of the best we’ve had. Better than the popular ones back in the PH like Manam, Two Seasons, Locavore, Gerry’s Grill etc. Perfect ratio of ingredients, flavours & texture (which I think matters with sisig).
Will def make a trip back to Brighton for it.
Great authentic Filipino food! Although we wait for the food a bit longer, its totally worth it! That ube shake is a must BTW! And we enjoy listening to the dude busking just beside the resto ????
This restaurant was the highlight of my London/England trip. I was so impressed to see a thriving and unapologetically Filipino restaurant in Brighton that I talked to the staff and owners. Their food is divine! I’ll go back and try their crispy pata.

Quick Facts About BRUHA

One of the strengths of BRUHA place is its authenticity. Multiple comments mention that the restaurant serves authentic Filipino food, and that the taste is out of this world. This is a major advantage for BRUHA place, as it attracts both locals and tourists who are looking for an authentic dining experience. The fact that the food is described as better than popular Filipino restaurants in the Philippines indicates that BRUHA place is able to deliver high-quality and delicious dishes.
The portion sizes at BRUHA place are also mentioned as being very generous. This is another strength, as it appeals to customers who want to feel satisfied after their meal. Generous portion sizes can also justify the prices and make customers feel like they are getting value for their money. Additionally, the restaurant has a nice and cozy atmosphere, creating an intimate dining experience. This is important for customers who are looking for a comfortable and pleasant environment to enjoy their meal.
Booking is highly recommended at BRUHA place, which can be seen as both a strength and a weakness. On one hand, it shows that the restaurant is popular and in demand, which is a positive indicator. On the other hand, it may be a turn-off for customers who prefer to eat at restaurants without having to make a reservation in advance. Some people may find it inconvenient or simply prefer the spontaneity of walking into a restaurant without a booking. However, for those who plan ahead and want to secure a table, the requirement for booking is a strength.
The ube shake at BRUHA place is mentioned multiple times as a must-try item. This indicates that the restaurant has standout dishes that customers rave about. Having signature dishes that customers come back for is a strength, as it creates a sense of uniqueness and sets the restaurant apart from others. It also creates word-of-mouth marketing, as customers recommend the specific dishes to others. The positive comments about the cocktails at BRUHA place also highlight the quality of their drink offerings, which is another strength.
However, there are also some weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One customer mentions that the kinilaw was too spicy and not in line with traditional Filipino kinilaw. This could be a weakness for customers who expect a specific flavor profile for their favorite Filipino dishes. Another comment mentions that the lumpia was not the usual small and veggie-filled authentic version. This deviation from traditional recipes may be a disappointment for customers who are looking for an authentic experience.
The wait time for food is mentioned as a slight drawback. While the quality of the food is highly praised, the wait time can be long. This may deter customers who are looking for a quick meal or those with time constraints. However, the fact that customers are still willing to wait indicates that the food is worth it.
In conclusion, BRUHA place has several strengths that make it a standout Filipino restaurant in Brighton. Its authenticity, generous portion sizes, and cozy atmosphere are major positives. The standout dishes, such as the ube shake, add to its appeal. However, there are some weaknesses mentioned, such as the deviation from traditional recipes and the wait time for food. Nonetheless, the positive comments and overall positive impressions outweigh the weaknesses, making BRUHA place a recommended spot for Filipino food lovers in Brighton.
