We had such a great experience finding this gem restaurant in Athens TN!! Their Famous Cuban sandwich was loaded with meat and flavor on the best tasting bread ever! The Miami steak sandwich was incredibly delicious too! You just never know places like this exist unless you give it a try and we were so glad we did.????????????????????????

OK, so I am a noob when it comes to Cuban food.

So I can’t speak to the traditional amount of seasonings, spices, heat, etc. that one should expect.

My personal taste would demand a little salt, but that’s why they make salt shakers.

This seemed like a fun place to go hang out with some friends and enjoy some fresh food served hot and prepared by the skilled hands of a devoted proprietor. I understood that Angela consistently prepares much of the menu herself out of love for the cuisine and a desire to share it’s unique flavors with others.

I ordered the Cuban sandwich with fries but I also had to try the beans and rice since it was a crowd favorite.

The pork was some of the most tender that I’ve had and the bread was clearly freshly prepared and amazing. Everything was fresh and hot.

The flavor of the Cuban was mild with subtle smoky hints from the pork.

The french fries were average.

Although I’m not usually a big bean and rice fan, there was something about them that made me want to have another bite, and then another.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were eager to serve and knowledgeable about the menu.

I wish I would’ve had more time to stay and learn a bit more about What brought Ms. Angela into the business and what she loves most about the cuisine

If you’re in the area and you’ve never tried Cuban cuisine, I recommend giving Angela’s Miami Grill a visit.

Nice little place! A little off of the beaten path but well worth the search!!

The service was very good. I was seated right away and had my food within 10 minutes.

The Cuban Sandwich was one of the best I have ever eaten.

If I am ever passing through Athens again, thus will definitely be one of my stops!!!

Ropa Vieja was very delicious!! Not really liking the location, outside curb appeal. But food was great. Will be back though!

There was 3 of us, I had the philly burger and it was DELICIOUS! cooked to perfection as I ordered it medium. My husband and son ordered the Cuban sandwich. It was my husband's first time having a Cuban sandwich ever and my son's second time. They bought loved them. The owner was there greeting us as we came in. He's a very down to earth guy and we had a nice conversation with him. The bartender and waitress were also very nice. This has just became our favorite place to go.

Eleven beers on tap always plus 20+ more in bottles and cans. Best burgers in Athens!

The Cuban food was very good, and we tried a couple of the different craft beers. They have such a great variety of options. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

A unique menu from which to choose, it offers many wonderful dishes. I have not ever ordered anything which was not good. My favorite is the Cuban Sandwich, but there is so much from which to choose. The cheesecake is also fabulous.
