I used to absolutely love this place. It was my go to brow place and I recommended it to so many friends. I’ve been coming here for almost three years now but I just had such an awful experience that I will never be returning. I walked in and did not recognize the lady. Maybe they got a new lady because she had no idea what she was doing. I said “Please do not make my brows too skinny.” I have been getting my brows done for 9 years now and my brows have never looked this horrific. The way she was threading was painful and I usually have a very high pain tolerance, especially when it comes to threading or waxing. I once again said “Please make sure it’s not too skinny. I don’t want it skinny. Just the arch shape but I like it thick so not too skinny.” While she was threading, I know for a fact I said “not too skinny” at least five times. When she was done, I looked at myself and I was SHOCKED. I wanted to get a full face wax after the threading but I refused to spend another minute there . I just wanted to pay and get out. She made my brows SO SKINNY and I think it’s going to take a few months before they grow back but I don’t think they will ever look the same again. And she had the audacity to say “Just the trimming is left.” God knows what she was planning on trimming after taking off my entire brow almost. Do not go here if you want to leave with brows.
I would never give anybody a negetive review. But this was a different experience. I doubt I will ever be returning. I have been to this shop 2-3 times before for threading and thought she was decent. I went today and the lady simply could not be bothered in doing a proper clean job, the way she was threading was just painful.
After she was done, my upper lip still had some hair so I asked her if she could look into it
She got a bit annoyed but did it. I checked, I see I already have a tiny cut and am bleeding a little, and surprise surprise there is still a little hair on my upper lip.
I didn't say anything about the cut but told her there is still hair, clearly she wasn't happy and aggressively started doing the threading and basically just threaded my entire skin off.
Let me be clear at no point was I rude to her and paid the entire amount. But she hurt me just because I told her that there was still hair and even while threading my eyebrows she was very aggressive. Plus I STILL HAVE HAIR ON MY UPPER LIP!!
In the photo I have attached you can see how badly she cut me. She is good at threading but sadly I will not be returning.
PS - The attached picture was taken 2 days after my appointment.
Although this shop is very plain & basic in appearance, the services that I received were top notch.
I had not only my eyebrows threaded, but a whole "clean up" of threading to remove all of my facial & neck hair. The owner did my service & she was fast & efficient.
I also had my beautiful newly shaped eyebrows tinted & she matched my hair color perfectly.
I highly recommend this shop for their quality service & excellent pricing.
I'll definitely become a regular.
10.9.22: Called the owner 6mins prior to arrival. I was told to come in 15. I went the Indian supermarket across the street. Came back in 9mins. Owner instructed my daughter and to sit in svs chair. She went in back for 3mins. Another customer walked in, Indian woman immediately walked to the back. She Put on a mask as she noticed we had ours. Looked us up and down. Told the owner she was there first, not true. Owner proceeded to ask us to get out of the seat as she was going to svs her first. As soon as the customer in question walked in. I new there was going to be an issue. Racisms seems to be spreading everywhere. Beyond disappointed as I went to the supermarket to support authentic business.
Best threading I’ve ever gotten. I first came here 7 years ago when I moved to the area and then was living in Philly and went someplace else. I came back here after moving to KOP area again and I was not disappointed!
I have been a client of Anita's for years! She is very detail oriented and really goes above and beyond for her clients. She always remembers just how I like my eye brows threaded and does them perfectly. I highly recommend her eye brow threading and facials (when they are available again).
Customer friendly Parlour..Being Indian love to go there and take the services it’s absolutely amazing.

Great service! This was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded at the salon and the owners were really friendly! They took their time to make sure that my eyebrows were aligned perfectly and I was very satisfied with my experience! I highly recommend!
