I was looking for a place that would do a men’s Korean style wave perm and found this place by luck. The stylist gave me exactly what I was looking for and at an excellent rate; it would have been double the price at another salon! You have to make an appointment (no walk-ins), but it’s worth it. Don’t expect to be pampered like at a typical western salon, since the stylist takes other calls and and doesn’t make much conversation outside of what really matters - how to take care of your hair and styling tips. I’m very pleased with the results and will definitely be returning.
Great Asian haircuts for cheap. Appointments required, and stylist is more likely to be wearing a mask (big plus).
Make sure to speak clearly to the stylist and be patient as it is often a one-person operation during business hours. At least in my experience. It may have changed now.
Haircut itself turns out well and the stylist is easy to work with and give feedback to. It is also amazing bang for your buck, even with female-type hairstyles.

As an Asian man I've found it surprisingly difficult to find a competent stylist who's worked with Asian hair. After years of mediocre haircuts I found this place and could not be happier. Her compitence inspired me to try perming my hair, which I have been extremely satisfied with. She's very much helped me figure out my aesthetic after years of being somewhat dissatisfied. Would highly recommend to any Asian person in SLC!
The stylist is very professional. She recently increased the price by $3 and still the price is unbeatable. You have to make an appointment over the phone. Just give it a try.

Appointment time got little longer, approximately 2~3 weeks long.
I arrived 15 minutes late due to work and they gave me trash attitude no one deserves. Totally a waste of time to reserve 2 weeks in advance. Will never go there and recommend to anyone else.
